Whether you are looking for a bottle of your favorite beer, a delicious snack or one of the best sandwiches in town, look no further than MOMA. Located at 121 E. Michigan Avenue, downtown Kalamazoo, Josh and Jess Marunde have created the perfect “urban micro-grocery”.
With new housing options popping up in downtown Kalamazoo every month, the need for access to basic groceries and supplies became paramount and MOMA opened its doors on August 30th to fill the need.
One section of the market offers a variety of GROCERIES, BASIC HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES, BEER, WINE and GOURMET FOOD ITEMS. The beer and wine selection is outstanding! The refrigerated grocery section has some real gems, including a selection of desserts from Paradise Café in Portage.
If the wide selection offered in the market weren’t enough, MOMA is also home to a PHENOMENAL DELI that makes some of the best sandwiches in Kalamazoo. Although it took ten minutes to select from the 14 gourmet sandwiches, we highly recommend the Hemmingway – ham, apple, brie, arugula and stone mustard on Sarkozy Brewer’s bread. Delicious is an understatement! The café/delicatessen also offers a fixed menu which can be viewed on their Facebook page. Do yourself a huge favor and check out all of the amazing food options at MOMA.
Another little jewel MOMA offers its patrons is an IN HOUSE BUTCHER. The selection of local, pastured meats is second to none. No matter what you are looking for, the friendly and skilled butcher at MOMA can get exactly what you have need. Whether you are looking for a few steaks or an entire butcher bundle, look no further that MOMA.
Local products, fresh from the farm meats and produce, an extensive wine and beer selection, a gourmet deli, a skilled butcher and an incredibly friendly and helpful staff are just a few of the things that make MOMA shine. So, no matter if you live downtown Kalamazoo or in Mattawan, make the trip to visit Josh, Jess & the MOMA staff, you will thank us!
AS ALWAYS, MAKE SURE AND LET THEM KNOW THAT WOMEN’S LIFESTYLE SENT YOU.
