Kalamazoo, Mich. See storybook characters come to life at Kalamazoo
County Fair’s Fairytale Day. Once Upon a Princess will be performing on
the Kid Stage inside the Expo Center at 1:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:00pm.
Cinderella and her prince, the Snow Queen, and others will sing and tell
stories that captivate kids of all ages. Following each show the
princesses will meet and mingle with the audience for photos.
Knights in shining armor and their Lady’s will be on the fairgrounds to
greet you in the afternoon. Later in the evening they will be part of the
grandstand entertainment when Her Majesty’s Royal Guard, a medieval
combat troupe will take to the field for a real sword fight competition.
Lexi Adams will be live on the Kalamazoo Music Stage from 6:30-
8:30pm. Come out and enjoy a great acoustic show. This up and coming
local artist is a fan favorite.
The Kalamazoo County Fair runs August 7-11 and is open from 9am-
9pm daily. Admission is $6.00 per adult, $2.00 per child ages 6-12 and
free for children 5 and under with a paid adult. All entertainment,
including grandstand shows, is free. There is no charge for parking.
